By design, your User Content is displayed publicly for up to a 168 hour period, followed by automatic removal of your User Content from public view and subsequently deleted from our database(s). We cannot promise that full deletion will occur after the 168 hour period. Understand that our affiliates, partner companies and other Users of the Service may also capture and collect your User Content and data for an indefinite period of time.

We may also be required to hold on automated deletion processes if we receive valid legal process asking us to keep content or if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This can be attributed to receiving reports of abuse or violations to our Terms of Service agreement.

Control Over Your Information

While we hope to allow communities to share information with each other openly and freely with accuracy, we also understand the concerns involved when sharing potentially detailed information that can be accessed publicly by location. We have taken steps to ensure that becoming acquainted with members of your local community is a comfortable and safe experience that keeps you in-the-know on who can see your public content and in what detail. The following is what you will expect when going forward with the Service:

How other Users See your Content

There are three main statuses to understand your relationship to those within you local community. New, Following and Friends.

You will add “friends” to your Friends List from your local community by “Scouting” around to discover who's uploaded User Content is closest to your current location.

Users you have yet to add to your Friends List will be “partially” shown in the Scouting view. “Partially shown” means only the user’s full name, username, bio, recent reactions (if any) and star count (if any) are only revealed to you. You can tap “Follow” to fully reveal the user’s video content, along with its precise location, time of upload and distance (100 Meters= 1Block) away from where you are currently positioned. The user is then added to your friends list as a “Following” status.

The user you followed will immediately receive a notification indicating that you are “Following” them. They can accept the notification and follow you back in return, revealing your content in full (e.g., current video content, location, distance, time of upload) and making your statuses from “followers” to “Friends”, of which you will also receive a notification indicating the status change.

At any time, at any status, you can block, report, mute or unmute users within your community by tapping the “...” button in the “Friends List” our “Scouting” Interface to take desired action. In addition to the above, other Users can only see the location of your User Content from when it was initially posted. In other words, other Users cannot see your current location at anytime unless you remain approximate to your posted User Content over a prolonged period of time.

Please note that muting users only removes the user and their content temporarily from your Scouting menu view. The user you have muted can still view your publicly poste content if available. To ensure that the user(s) cannot view your posted content you must block the user with the steps outline as provided above.

Access & Revoking Access

Throughout the Service, we will ask specific permissions to access, enable or send the following: Notifications, photos or camera roll, camera, microphone and location. All of these permissions are required in order to successfully use the Service effectively.

In the event that your preference changes from our ongoing ability to collect information from the various sources you have already consented to on our Service (eg., location services, notification, etc), you can revoke your consent by accessing the settings on your device. Revoking specific services may lose full functionality of the Service.

Multiple Accounts

The Service will only allow one account per registered phone number. This ensures that one identity is assigned with only one account on the Service. Only partners who qualify can obtain more than one account on the Service and requires a fee.

Deleting Your Content

In the event that you choose to delete your content, you can do so by tapping the trash can icon located under the map view of your posted content. Deleting all of your posted content, in addition to refraining of posting future content, removes your presence on the platform. To find your content quickly, mute all other followers in your Friends List followed by accessing the Scouting Menu. This isolates your content from everyone else for you to manage. You can also visit the location of the content you posted to delete it.

Like many user content generated services, the Service provides a method to block users from seeing your account or current or future content. When you block someone, you will no longer be able to view that user’s public account or content. When doing so, the blocked user will not be able to view your public account or content.

You can unblock users in the Settings menu (gear icon) beside your profile Photo on the Friends List. Once you tap “unblock”, the blocked user will appear in your Friends List, where you can mute, unmute or report or block the user again.

Note: Muting (eye-closed icon) and unmuting (eye-open icon) a user is not the same as blocking a user. Muting a user only filters their content out of your view until unmuted. While muted, the user will still be able to see your public account and content when available.

Subscribed Communications

By creating an account with the Service, you provide consent for PPT LABS Inc. to send you third-party email newsletter services automatically, providing information on new products or content that we think you may find useful or interesting. At any point, you can unsubscribe from within the newsletter or unsubscribe at any time here.

The Service provides a method of reporting users and their content based on the options provided when a report is made from anywhere within the Service.

Successfully submitted reports are reviewed within a 24 hour period. Within this same time period, a decision will be made on whether the user and their content will be removed temporarily or permanently from the Service.

Users who are reported from the Service may have their account or content temporarily suspended or permanently removed without notice prior to action taken on behalf of the Service.

In some cases of reported accounts and content, we may retain certain information for a limited amount of time as required by law if valid legal process is pursued which asks us to preserve reported content.

Note: The Service is not required or liable for taking legal action on reported content or between user disputes that are based on reporting inappropriate, offensive or abusive content that may be harmful or damaging to other users. In the event of a concern of a user’s safety, please inform local authorities on the matter, as it is the most effective means of resolving any potential harm or illegal activity captured through the Service in a timely manner.

Children & Youth Privacy

The Service and its content is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 16 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 16 without parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as possible and deactivate the account to whom of which it belongs to. Please contact us if you believe that we might have any information from or about a child or youth under the age of 16. Parental control options or iOS devices can be found here.
